A few days back I had some unexpected guest turn up on a Sunday afternoon. They were friends who we had not seen in months. As it was almost lunchtime, I invited them to stay for lunch. Since there were five extra people for lunch I had rush into the kitchen to prepare more food. Surprisingly my young daughter offered to help me. As she had never done so before I was a little apprehensive about taking her help. She usually never entered the kitchen unless she had to eat something.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that she had started on make the salad and then lay the table without any instructions from me. This really baffled me for I had never taught her these things. It was then she told me that she had learnt all these from cooking games that she played on the computer. In the evening, she showed me the ecooking website, which had thousands of food games for girls. These games were not only fun to play but were also educative. It was at this site that she had picked up the few basics of cooking. Now I too have been hooked on to these food cooking games for girls.
